Finding the Perfect Fit: A Guide to Determining Your Ring Size

Finding the right ring size is simple yet essential step to ensure comfort and wearability of your special piece. Whether you're shopping for yourself or a loved one, taking the time to accurately determine your ring size ensures a comfortable and flattering fit. With the help of these tips and techniques, you'll be well-equipped to find your perfect fit.

  1. Use a Ring Sizing Chart: By clicking this Ring Sizer Chart you will be taken to a printable ring sizing chart. To use a sizing chart, place one of your existing rings that fits the finger you wish to wear your new piece over the circles until you find the one that matches the inside diameter of your ring. This corresponding circle indicates your ring size.
  2. Measure Your Finger: If you don't have a ring to use as a reference, you can measure your finger directly. We will be happy to send you a plastic ring sizer, simply place this on your finger and tighten until it snugly but comfortably.
  3. Consider the Width of the Ring: Keep in mind that wider bands will fit more snugly than thinner bands. If you're choosing a wider ring, you may need to size up slightly for a comfortable fit. If you're opting for a delicate band, you may find that your usual ring size fits perfectly.
  4. Temperature and Time of Day: Your fingers can swell or shrink depending on the time of day and temperature. It's best to measure your ring size in the afternoon or evening when your fingers are typically at their largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as this can cause your fingers to constrict and give an inaccurate measurement.
  5. Consult a Professional: If you are still uncertain about your ring size or would prefer us to do this, we will happily help you find your perfect size during your consultation.
  6. Test the Fit: Once you've determined your ring size, test the fit by sliding the ring onto your finger. It should slide on easily but not feel too loose. You should be able to remove the ring without too much effort, but it shouldn't slip off effortlessly. If the fit isn't quite right please let us know. We want to make sure you feel comfortable wearing your new jewellery.
