Jodi Phillips Fine Jewellery

Jodi Phillips is an award winning jeweller and designer currently Director and Head Jeweller of Jodi Phillips Fine Jewellery with twenty years experience in the jewellery industry.

After completing a 3D Product Design Degree at Griffith University in 2004, Jodi began her four year jewellery apprenticeship while working for a high end family owned jeweller. Throughout this time Jodi became an integral part of the company quickly becoming Workshop Manager and Lead Designer with an extremely passionate and unique approach to her work. Fifteen years later and Jodi has now established Jodi Phillips Fine Jewellery with the support of a small and dedicated team of talented creatives.

Jodi continues to develop her fine craftsmanship skills and is always evolving her style and techniques to produce world class jewellery pieces.

“I love the whole process from the early design phase through to the finished make and being a part of someone’s special story. I love love. I love people's love stories. I love unique feminine jewellery. I think jewellery speaks volumes about the wearer and their love story and I want to be able to voice all of that in my designs. I have a passion for the art of making jewellery and it still fascinates me that I can create a finely detailed ring from a chunk of gold in the way that I do. I will always be a jeweller first and my favourite place is in the workshop with my hands dirty.”

The Design Process
Thank you for your interest in Jodi Phillips Fine Jewellery. The following is a brief outline of our standard design and make process to help you plan and understand the steps involved in the making of your special piece.
The design process can be undertaken several ways depending on your preference. Whether you choose to meet Jodi in person at our studio in Mermaid Beach, via zoom, or simply email, Jodi will be able to create an individual piece designed and made specifically for you or your loved one.
During your consultation, Jodi will discuss your ideas and inspiration, and review multiple possible design options for you. From there Jodi will create two or three designs based on your budget, timeframe, and any other specifications you have. Once the design and stones have been approved, and a 50% deposit is paid, your custom piece will then be scheduled into the production phase and all materials and stones will be sourced.
Our current lead time is 10-12 weeks. This may be affected by public and seasonal holidays. Please allow an extra 14 days over the Christmas period. Any urgent requests can be discussed with Jodi. We value your time and appreciate the importance of due dates with special events and will always go above and beyond to ensure everyone involved is more than happy.
The Jodi Phillips team will provide updates throughout the making process to ensure you are kept up to date with the progress of your special piece. Once your piece has been completed and is ready for collection or shipping, our team will contact you to book a pickup time or to confirm your shipping details.
Once again, thank you for considering Jodi Phillips Fine Jewellery and we can’t wait to share this special journey with you.
